I love caramel, especially paired with chocolate, but I'm picky about the texture of caramel sauces. Some are too sticky, too chewy, or even too throat-searingly sweet. Trader Jacques' Fleur de Sel Caramel Sauce, however, is perfect. The salt isn't overwhelming; it's barely detectable and merely enhances the sweetness of the caramel. The sauce itself is thick enough to drizzle, cover, or top ice cream and cakes without sinking right in. It's the perfect sweet topping for... anything. Sometimes I combine it with the Organic Midnight Moo chocolate sauce for an extra treat. Or you could really indulge and eat it straight from the jar or smeared on Granny Smith apple slices. Mmm!

If you've ever watched caramel being made and instantly craved it, only to be disapointed because it never tastes as good as the decadent ingredients... Then you have to taste this caramel!!! It's amazingly delicious- no artificial flavor tinge at all. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and sweet/saltiness is perfection.

I received this as a gift and it was fantastic! It has wonderful texture and flavor both room temperature or heated up. We have found many uses for it but have to say the family favorite is over ice cream!

Oh, my goodness! This stuff is to die for. It's fabulous served warm over vanilla ice cream. I also used it as a base for caramel French toast casserole and it was amazing. Eaten with a spoon right out of the jar is hard to beat! Beth B
